เอาข้อมูลวิถีวงโคจรของ ISON ที่ห่างกันประมาณ 1 เดือน มาให้ชมครับ ส่วนการแปลข้อมูลนี่ ผมไม่ชำนาญครับ ท่านไหนที่เชี่ยวชาญด้านนี้ ขอรบกวนด้วยครับ

แต่ผมว่าเนื่องจากดาวหางยังอยู่ไกลมาก และเป็นการค้นพบครั้งแรก ต้องใช้เวลาในการ fine tune จนกว่าจะมั่นใจว่าข้อมูลนิ่งและถูกต้อง การคำนวณตำแหน่งของดาวหาง ในแต่ละการสังเกต เพื่อนำมาใช้คำนวณวิถีโคจร จนถึง ณ วันที่ 16 กย. 2013 ( 717 วัน นับจาก 30 กย. 2011 ) มี 4,266 ข้อมูล

MOID ( Minimum orbit intersection distance ) ระหว่างโลก กับ ISON เปลี่ยนไปคือ เข้ามาใกล้โลกจากเดิมมากขึ้น 1,481 กม.

ดาวหางไม่ได้เปลี่ยนเส้นทางหรอกครับ แต่การคำนวณของมนุษย์เรายังไม่นิ่ง แค่นั้นเอง รอตัวเลข Orbit quality code อยู่ ว่าจะเป็นยังไง

COMET ISON IN MOTION

Comet ISON is falling toward the sun for a close encounter on Thanksgiving Day 2013. If it survives, it could become one of the finest comets in years. At the moment ISON is still far away and faint, but its sunward velocity is impressive--more than 72,000 mph on Sept. 22nd. Click on the image to see the comet in motion:

Alberto Quijano Vodniza of Pasto, Narino, Colombia, obtained the 35-minute video on Sept 22nd. "The motion of the comet was clearly visible," he says. "I used a 14-inch Celestron telescope and a STL-1001E SBIG camera."

Comet ISON is now approaching Mars in the eastern sky before sunrise. On Oct. 1st it will fly past the Red Planet at a distance on only 0.07 AU. Mars satellites and rovers are in position to snap the first close-up pictures of the comet. Until then, browse the Comet ISON Photo Gallery where pictures from Earth are already pouring in.

U.S. sees another bright fireball on September 27

September 2013 has been busy for sightings of bright fireballs. The one at 11:33 p.m. local time on September 27 was the 14th fireball sighting in the U.S. in September.

The American Meteor Society (AMS) has reported at least 373 reports of another bright fireball – a very bright meteor, likely a small chunk of natural incoming space debris – over the U.S. last night (September 27, 2013). These reports followed a similar event over approximately the same area the day before (September 26). The AMS called the coincidence of two bright fireballs, or bright meteors, spotted over approximately the same region on consecutive days “surprising.” Witnesses from Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia reported a bright light moving across the night sky on September 27 at around 11:33 p.m. local time, according to the AMS.

Fireball might sound ominous, but it is just the word astronomers use to mean bright meteor. As seen from a whole-Earth perspective, fireballs are seen often. It’s unusual to have two appear on consecutive nights over the same region, however.

September 2013 has been a busy month for sightings of bright meteors, according to the AMS. Last night’s event marks the 14th fireball sighting with at least 25 witnesses in September, the most ever since the AMS started recording sightings online, they say.

สัปดาห์หน้าดาวหาง ISON ก็จะโคจรผ่านดาวอังคาร NASA กับ ESA ก็ได้เตรียมพร้อมที่จะถ่ายภาพมาฝากชาวโลกเช่นกัน ช่วงเวลานี้โคม่า(ส่วนหัว)ของดาวหางเริ่มปรากฏสีเขียว นั่นหมายถึงดาวหางได้ผ่านเข้ามาสู่ระบบสริยะชั้นในแล้ว โคม่าอาจจะกว้างได้หลายแสนกิโลเมตร อย่างเช่น The Great Comet of 1811ที่มีโคม่ากว้างพอๆกับเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางของดวงอาทิตย์ (1.4 ล้าน กม.) เลยทีเดียว
ปกติ Cyanogen (CN) กับ diatomic carbon (C2) ที่ปล่อยออกมาจากนิวเคลียสของดาวหางจะไม่มีสี แต่เมื่อปะทะกับรังสีอุตราไวโอเลตในแสงอาทิตย์ทำให้เรามองเห็นเป็นสีเขียวอมชมพู ที่สวยงาม แต่แฝงไว้ด้วยความเป็นพิษที่ร้ายกาจ ถึงขนาดที่มีคนหัวใสผลิตยาขจัดพิษและหน้ากากป้องกันพิษออกมาขาย เมื่อครั้งที่ดาวหางฮัลเล่ย์เข้าใกล้โลกในเมื่อ 19 May 1910 และที่น่าแปลกประหลาดคือ คนที่ทานยาเข้าไปก็ได้รอดตายจากเหตุการณ์ครั้งนั้น !! เช่นเดียวกับคนที่ไม่ทานยาด้วย ( เหน็บแนม นะเนี่ย )
ช่วงเวลาที่เข้าใกล้ดวงอาทิตย์มากๆ ฝุ่นปริมาณนับล้านปอนด์จะพวยพุ่งออกรอบๆนิวเคลียส ทำให้ดูเหมือนว่านิวเคลียสมีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้น สว่างขึ้น มีสีออกส้มเหลือง เนื่องจากดาวหาง ISON จะเข้าใกล้ดวงอาทิตย์มากกว่า ดาวหาง L4 PANSTARRS ดังนั้น ISON น่าจะเปล่งประกายสีสันที่ครบทุกเฉดสี สวยงามยิ่งกว่าก็เป็นได้

อีกวันกว่าๆ ดาวหาง ISON ก็จะโคจรผ่านดาวอังคารในระยะใกล้สุดประมาณ 10 ล้าน กม.

NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter will study and photograph the comet from orbit on three days: Sept. 29, Oct. 1 and Oct. 2. Europe’s Mars Express orbiter, which began its ISON observing campaign on Sept. 21, will study the coma, the tenuous atmosphere that surrounds the comet’s icy nucleus. The probe will examine and photograph ISON through about October 5. As soon as photos are released.

พรุ่งนี้วันที่ 1 ตค. 2013 แรม 11 ค่ำ เหมาะกับการเฝ้าสังเกตดาวหางเคียงข้างดาวอังคารไม่น้อยเลย แถมยังมีพระจันทร์เสี้ยวอยู่ด้านขวามืออีก แต่คงต้องมีกล้องเทเลสโคปขนาด 6 นิ้วขึ้นไปครับ เนื่องจากดาวหางยังไม่สว่างมาก ( mag. 12-14 )

ALERT ... comet ISON recently turned GREEN showing it is connecting electrically with Mars as i predicted ... this started on the 24th ... standard science claims this is due to UV light from the sun ... more fairy tale science ... if that is the case there is UV light all over the solar system ... why do some comets not show green at all and others are very green ... they never explain such dichotomies (they do not have to since in the controlled press no one else gets to insert even a comment) ... i predicted this brightening as the comet connects electrically with mars ... heading for a close bypass on october 1st ... more as this develops ... jim mccanney (and note the internet nut cases will be creating all kinds of WOO WOO scare stories using this as a basis ... many of which are controlled by the disinfo crew and many trying to mis-use my name and work ... the disinfo engine is in full swing to keep the public dumb about the electrical nature of comets ... why ??? because if the public knew they would ask why we cannot connect to outer space to power our society with energy from the electrical solar system that surrounds us ... read my books especially THE DIAMOND PRINCIPLE for details )

The first STEREO telescope to see Comet ISON will be the large angle Heliospheric Imager #2 on the Ahead spacecraft (HI2-A). The first image below shows the projected day-by-day location of the comet in the HI2-A field-of-view from October 10, 2013, when it is expected to enter on the left side of the field, through November 23, 2013, when it is expected to leave on the right side of the field.
