จะสังเกตเห็นได้นะครับว่า ถึงแม้ในบริเวณทเป็นรอยเลื่อนของทวีปหรืออยู่ในวงแหวนแห่งไฟก็ตาม ในอดีตที่ผ่านมามีการเกิดแผ่นดินไหวไม่รุนแรง แต่ในช่วงหลัง ๆ นี้ ความรุนแรงของบริเวณดังกล่าวกลับเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมากจนน่าตกใจมากครับ ต้องคอยติดตามดูอย่างใกล้ชิด

พงศาวดารไทยระบุ แผ่นดินไหวพ.ศ.690 โยนกนครจมบาดาล ในพื้นที่จ.เชียงราย​

นายอดิศร ฟุ้งขจร รักษาการหัวหน้าสถานีตรวจวัดแผ่นไหวเชียงใหม่ เปิดเผยว่า จากการศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลแผ่นดินไหวที่เกิดขึ้นในประเทศไทย พบว่าเกิดมานานแล้ว แต่ที่มีการบันทึกไว้ในพงศาวดารของทางราชการที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุแผ่นดินไหว คือ ประมาณปี พ.ศ. 690 ซึ่งตรงกับวันอังคาร เดือน 8 ขึ้น 14 ค่ำ ที่ละติจูด 20.25 องศาเหนือ ลองจิจูด 100.08 องศาตะวันออก ทำให้เมืองโยนกนครล่มสลาย ซึ่งปัจจุบันอยู่ในพื้นที่อำเภอเชียงแสน จ.เชียงราย โดยมีการบันทึกเหตุการณ์ไว้ในพงศาวดารว่า "สุริยอาทิตย์ ก็ตกไปแล้วก็ได้ยินเสียง เหมือนดั่งแผ่นดินดังลั่นสนั่นหวั่นไหว ประดุจว่าเวียงโยนกนครที่นี้จักเคลื่อนจักพังไปนั้น แล้วก็ยุบจมลงหายไป กลายเป็นหนองน้ำทั้งคนและเมืองวินาศฉิบหายไปสิ้น" จึงสันนิษฐานว่า ปัจจุบันเมืองโยนกนคร หรือเวียงหนองหล่ม น่าจะจมหนองน้ำอยู่ในอำเภอเชียงแสน
นายอดิศร ยังกล่าวถึงกว๊านพะเยา จ.พะเยา ว่า เกิดจากรอยต่อของรอยเลื่อนพะเยา และรอยเลื่อนปัว เขตจังหวัดน่าน มาชนกัน ทำให้เกิดหนองน้ำขนาดใหญ่ และการที่จังหวัดจะกู้วัดติโลการาม จมอยู่ใต้น้ำนั้น ไม่ได้มีสาเหตุมาจากแผ่นดินไหวที่ทำให้วัดจมอยู่ใต้น้ำ และไม่ได้มีการบันทึกไว้ในพงศาวดาร ซึ่งน่าจะเกิดจากการสร้างเขื่อน ทำให้น้ำท่วมในพื้นที่ลุ่มจนจมอยู่ใต้น้ำเหมือนกับการสร้างเขื่อนหลายแห่ง แต่ในส่วนของเมืองโยนก มีการบันทึกไว้ชัดเจน หากทางราชการจะขุดค้น ควรจะค้นหาเมืองโยนก มากกว่า และยังเชื่อว่าเหตุแผ่นดินไหวในอดีตมีผลกระทบกับประเทศไทย
นายอดิศร กล่าวว่า ปัจจุบัน ประเทศไทยยังมีรอยเลื่อนอีกกว่า 10 แห่ง ที่ยังมีพลังงานอยู่ ล่าสุด เมื่อ 3วันก่อน เกิดแผ่นไหวบริเวณพรมแดนพม่าและลาว ขนาด 5.3ริกเตอร์ และมีอาฟเตอร์ช็อกอีกหลายครั้ง ทำให้รู้สึกได้ในพื้นที่จังหวัดเชียงราย และอีกหลายพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ แต่ไม่รายงานความเสียหายรุนแรง
ด้าน นายพิจิตต รัตตกุล ผู้อำนวยการบริหารศูนย์เตรียมความพร้อมป้องกันภัยพิบัติแห่งเอเชีย(ADPC)อดีตผู้ว่ากทม.กล่าวถึงสถานการณ์ภาวะโลกร้อนว่า ปัจจุบันนี้ในสังคมหลายประเทศรวมทั้งประเทศไทยหันมาให้ความสนใจกับเรื่องนี้มากขึ้น และพยายามหาทางแก้ปัญหาด้วยการจัดประชุมและจัดกิจกรรม ทั้งนี้ มีการศึกษาพบว่าในพื้นที่ กทม. น่าเป็นห่วง เพราะปัจจุบันพื้นดินอยู่สูงกว่าระดับน้ำทะเลปานกลางเพียง 45 เซนติเมตร แต่อุณหภูมิที่สูงขึ้นเพราะภาวะโลกร้อนจะทำให้อุณหภูมิสูง ลมแรง น้ำสูง ระดับน้ำจะค่อย ๆ สูงขึ้นเสมอพื้นดิน ในอนาคตอีก 20 ปีข้างหน้าเมื่อฝนตกเพียงเล็กน้อยจะทำให้น้ำท่วมพื้นที่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาและคูคลองต่าง ๆ อย่างน้อยร้อยละ 50 ระดับอุทกภัย วาตภัยและภัยธรรมชาติรูปแบบต่าง ๆ จะรุนแรงขึ้น
นายพิจิตต กล่าวอีกว่า ดังนั้น จะต้องคิดค้นวิธีป้องกันอุบัติภัยพร้อม ๆ กับเรื่องที่มนุษย์จะต้องเรียนวิธีปรับตัวอยู่กับธรรมชาติให้ได้ อย่างไรก็ตาม การหาวิธีแก้ปัญหาโลกร้อนของเมืองไทยนั้นจะต้องทำอย่างต่อเนื่อง ไม่ใช่พูดกันคนละทีสองที ที่สำคัญรัฐบาลจะต้องเป็นแกนนำวางยุทธศาสตร์ระยะยาวเพื่อวางทิศทางการศึกษาและทำงานเรื่องนี้อย่างจริงจัง

ชาวกาญจน์ผวาภัยแผ่นดินไหวเขื่อนแตก จี้กระทรวงไอซีทีทำต้นแบบเฝ้าระวังเหตุ​

กาญจนบุรี : นายแพทย์ไพรัช ศุภกาญจนกันติ ประธานคณะทำงานรณรงค์มาตรการระวังภัยแผ่นดินไหวจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี เปิดเผยว่า ได้มีการประชุมคณะทำงานเครือข่าย เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับเรื่องสถานการณ์แผ่นดินไหวและผลกระทบแนวเลื่อนแผ่นดินไหวที่อาจจะก่อเกิดในพื้นที่กาญจนบุรี โดยได้ข้อสรุปทางคณะทำงานทำหนังสือส่งถึงรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เพื่อขอให้ทบทวนและวางมาตรการป้องกันภัยแผ่นดินไหวของประเทศไทย
ในส่วนของพื้นที่กาญจนบุรีนั้นถือว่าเป็นที่สี่ยงภัยแผ่นดินไหวสูงสุด มาจากเหตุผล 2 ประการ ประการแรกคือกาญจนบุรีมีรอยเลื่อนแผ่นดินที่สำคัญคือ รอยเลื่อนศรีสวัสดิ์และรอยเลื่อนเจดีย์สามองค์ที่เป็นรอยเลื่อนสาขาของรอยเลื่อนสะแกงที่อยู่ทางภาคตะวันตกของประเทศไทยที่เพิ่งเกิดแผ่นดินไหวอย่างรุนแรงจนเกิดความเสียหายใหญ่หลวงในอดีต และรอยเลื่อนในพื้นที่กาญจนบุรีก็มีรายงานทางวิชาการว่ามีการขยับตัวในระยะเวลาหลายสิบปีที่ผ่านมา
นายแพทย์ไพรัช เปิดเผยอีกว่า เนื่องจากทางราชการไม่มีข้อมูลที่ชัดเจนและในฐานะที่เป็นชาวกาญจนบุรีที่อยู่ในสถานการณ์เสี่ยงภัยจากแผ่นดินไหวจึงอยากเสนอให้ กระทรวงไอซีทีพิจารณาดังต่อไปนี้คือ 1. ทบทวนบาทบาทของกระทรวงไอซีทีต่อการสร้างเสริมมาตรการระวังแผ่นดินไหวในพื้นที่จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี 2. ให้มีการสร้างระบบการระวังภัยแผ่นดินไหวในพื้นที่จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี และ 3. ให้ประกาศให้จังหวัดกาญจนบุรีเป็นจังหวัดต้นแบบในการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสารในการบริหารจัดการภัยพิบัติแผ่นดินไหวของประเทศไทยด้วย
