Mysterious "Sound Of Apocalypse" Heard Throughout Costa Rica

Is it the mysterious sound of the so-called coming Apocalypse? Some think that the mysterious sound heard in Costa Rica at around 12:30am this morning is exactly that.

Ronny Quintero, a seismologist said the event should be studied at the exact time and location of the anomalies to determine with certainty that there was no earthquake. He added that depending on the location of those who claim they heard the rumble or ”The Hum” it is easy to dismiss the possibility of tectonic movements.

This news has rattled the social web whereas Costa Ricans and the world over are scrambling to figure out what this mysterious sound could have been. Authorities have yet to comment on the subject although OVSICORI, the Costa Rica Volcanologist and Seismologist Organization is saying there is no Earth movements recorded at the time of the strange sound.

It is important to note that this is not the wind nor was it filmed anywhere near the ocean. The sound was heard throughout the entire country from Heredia to Perez Zeledon.

Phone home? How should awe respond to aliens, if they try and call us?

It could be anything from a simple 'hello' to disrupting the earth's nuclear fusion process.
But despite the uncertainty of how aliens could get in touch, one thing is certain for the astronomers from Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence - there would not be a cover-up.

The small band of researchers around the world scan the universe for signals coming from the world's largest radio telescopes, hunting for any unusual signs.
And while conspiracy theorists argue there would be a government cover-up or global upheaval Seth Shostak, the Seti Institute's principal astronomer, told the BBC that both groups are unnecessarily panicking.

'The idea that governments would keep this quiet because otherwise the public would go nuts, is nuts. History shows that's not what happens.
'In the early 1900s, there were claims that there were canals on Mars - a vast hydraulic civilisation just 50m km from Earth. The average guy in the street said 'well, I guess there are Martians' - they didn't panic.'

If the computers flag up an interesting signal they need other telescopes to confirm it which could take days - during which time the word would quickly spread by social media.

News of alien contact may reach most people via a tweet from a Seti astronomer, the BBC reported.

Seti say they have no obligation to report it to an official body, and can simply inform people what they have discovered and they do not know of any formal procedure of how to deal with it.
It is this simple announcement that means people like Paul Davies of the Beyond Center at Arizona State University, who heads up the the Seti Post-detection Taskgroup, are coming up with ways of how to respond.
It could just be a beacon, saying nothing more than 'Hello, Earthlings, we are here,' says Prof Davies.
HOW SETI BEGAN TO SCAN THE SKIES


The SETI Institute is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to scientific research, education and public outreach.

The Institute comprises 3 centers, the Center for SETI Research, the Carl Sagan Center for the Study of Life in the Universe and the Center for Education and Public Outreach.

Founded in November 1984, the SETI Institute began operations on February 1, 1985. Today it employs over 150 scientists, educators and support staff.

It uses computers using to sift through the cosmic radio traffic, flagging up to astronomers any potential attempts at contact from extraterrestrial life.



The Seti community firmly believe they should respond to whatever contact aliens may send us, but many disagree about what they should say back.
Prof Davies told the BBC that it would have to be something aliens and humans could both understand: 'The only thing that we've got in common has got to be at a mathematics and physics level.'
Some Seti scientists argue that, once we know where to direct contact too humans should send the contents of the entire internet, streamed down a laser light beam.

Aliens would then have plenty of mediums - music, art - from which to draw information about humans.
Dr Vakoch told the broadcaster that one way to show human characteristics such as helping others by showing them drawings of a person helping another up a cliff.
But any eventual message will be put together by international consensus - which will only be on the negotiating table if a signal actually shows up.

Mysterious theories about UFOs

It was strongly believed that extraterrestrials had already come to visit us a very long time ago.


Over thousands of document cases claiming UFO sighting, there must be few that are legitimate or not faked.


There were no stories about aliens being enchanted with our culture. When it comes to Aliens and human contact stories, there must be something wrong or sometimes, these stories are not logical. You may wonder that aliens may be amazed to human’s[COLOR=#009900 !important]collection in terms of arts. But who knows?


If and only if extraterrestrials had come to our world before, then why there were no stories stating the impression of aliens with regards to our culture?


There must be something wrong of this paranormal belief. Why? Why aliens do had never shared techniques or technologies to archaic wars? Unless if they had obeyed “Prime Directive” which allows non-interference to human culture.


Do aliens would appreciate our music and movies? Or even our [COLOR=#009900 !important]works[/COLOR], structures and politics?

We may be visualised as at prehistoric stage from extraterrestrial if and only if they really exist [COLOR=#009900 !important]and more[/COLOR]advanced in terms of science and technology. They must also have wondered about us, about the range of our art that our civilization had produced. Their curiosity and wonderment must be different to us or it could be advanced.

This paranormal belief had never been proven by any legitimate evidences. If and only they do really exist? Are there any extraterrestrial [COLOR=#009900 !important]scientist[/COLOR] on board existed on space that catalogue alien cultures and artifacts?
